Elaine Ann Davis, 80 of Kalkaska passed away at her home surrounded by her family on Saturday, June 25, 2016. Elaine was born in Clare Michigan to the late Charles and Beulah (Hattie) Davis on December 9, 1935. Elaine worked for General Motors for many years and was a member of UAW 599 from Buick. Elaine provided much of her free time to various charities which include medical driver for DHS and helping Kalkaska Area Interfaith Resources. She loved to fish, watch birds and grow beautiful flowers, and was known for having a strong bowling arm. Elaine dearly loved her family and is survived by her 4 sons, Earl (Denise) McCain, Trent (Bernadette) McCain, Bryan McCain, Tracy McCain and 2 daughters, JoDee (Roger) Gondol, Marlene (Robert) Wilcox, 14 grandchildren and 14 great grand children, sister, Linda Jones and special niece Sharon Smith. She was preceded in death by her parents, seven siblings and eldest son Robert McCain. The family would like to give a special thinks to the Grayling Hospice staff especially to Jenny and Sandy. Arrangements entrusted to Kalkaska Funeral home and Cremation Services. |
