BARBOUR, David Alexander - of Flint, age 87, died Tuesday, February 11, 2014 at his home. Cremation has taken place and no funeral service will be held. David was born in Southport, England on October 11, 1926. He has lived in Michigan since 1954. Surviving are his wife Elizabeth (“Bette”), two daughters, Julianne (& Craig Staton of High Point, NC), Joanne (& Brian Walker of Ann Arbor), and son David (& Michelle of Flushing); 5 grandchildren, Andrew, Jaclyn, Christopher, Ian and Kyle; many nieces and nephews in England.
Dr. Barbour was a respected Radiologist who served McLaren Hospital and Memorial Hospital in Owosso for more than 30 years. He was a great wit, an avid golfer, and talented guitarist who entertained his many friends. Please visit www.swartzfuneralhomeinc.com for the family’s online tribute.
