Julianna “Julie” was born on September 30, 1947, in Lansing, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph and Marigrace Culliton. Educated locally, Julianna attended St. Mary Catholic School in Mt. Morris and went on to graduate from Flushing High School with the Class of 1966. Julie married James Roberts, and their marriage would be blessed with two daughters: Theresa and Angelia. Sadly, Theresa preceded her mother in death on March 17, 1975. Julie began her employment at General Motors, Flint Engine Plant where she worked for 20 years on the production line. Julie enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, playing cards, traveling, bowling, arts & crafts, and occasionally gambling at the casino.
Left to cherish Julie’s memory are her beloved daughter: Angelia and husband, Cameron Walker; grandson, Keith Shields; granddaughter, Kaylee and husband, Jack Sanderson; siblings: Ginny and husband, Mark Parry, Bill Culliton, Katie and husband, Mike Hale, and Sue and husband, Rusty Mays.
Julie was preceded in death by her father, Ralph; mother and stepfather: Marigrace and Deke Hamacher; and her daughter, Theresa Roberts. |
