GUERRIERI, Marion D. (Marino) – Of Mt. Morris, age 96, died Sunday, April 20, 2014 at Regency at Grand Blanc.
Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, April 24, 2014 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road.
Burial in New Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
Those desiring may make contributions to Powers Catholic High School.
Visitation 1-3 and 5-8 p.m. Wednesday and 10 a.m. Thursday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
A Sons of Italy Service will be held at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday evening at the funeral home.
Marion was born in Saginaw, Michigan on January 7, 1918, the daughter of Peter and Vitina Marino and was a resident of Flint most of her life.
She married Jerald Guerrieri on May 23, 1942 and he preceded her in death on June 16, 1995.
She was a member of the Sons of Italy and a member of the Mt. Morris Eagles. She was an avid golfer, bowler and loved to travel.
Mrs. Guerrieri was employed by AC Spark Plug Division for 30 years, retiring in 1974.
Surviving are son, Gary;
daughter, Mary Ann;
two sisters, Frances Marino and Rita Burdt.
She was preceded in death by brothers, Pete and Sam; sisters, Mary Mangiarciana, Jenny Cesaro and Beatrice Genovese.
