TAYLOR, Maurine Lucile “Ludy” – of Birch Run, died Wednesday, May 25, 2016. She was 90 years of age.
Ludy was born October 15, 1925 in Flint, Michigan to the late George C. and Mamie (Warson) Howard. She married Andrew H. Taylor on May 2, 1942. He preceded her in death July 3, 1989. Ludy was a member of Vassar Seventh-Day Adventist Church. She enjoyed flower gardening. Above all, Ludy loved her family, they were her life.
Surviving are: Children: Tonya Wilson of Clio, Dianne Tyndall of Birch Run, Linda (Eddy) Houghteling of Birch Run, John (Kim) Taylor of Birch Run and Jim (Joann) Taylor of Alpena; 15 grandchildren; 36 great grandchildren; 12 great-great grandchildren and 3 step grandchildren; 3 nephews; Special friend, Sandra Rencour; Many other loving family members. Ludy was also preceded in death by her grandson, Bill Wilson; Great grandchildren: Steven Bator and Angel Shay.
Funeral services will be held at 3PM Friday, May 27, 2016 at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Birch Run. Rev. George Warson officiating. Burial in Birch Run Township Cemetery. Family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Friday from 1PM until the time of service at 3PM. Contributions may be made to Hilltop Church of God.
