Peggy A. Pindur – Age 56, died Sunday, August 31, 2014 at Maple Woods Manor. Peggy was born May 9, 1958 in Flint the daughter of Casimir and Emily Pindur. She enjoyed Word Search, and all the family gatherings where Peggy would lead Grace. Peggy was a graduate of the Elmer Knopf Learning Center and worked for V.I.P. She participated in the Special Olympics and in 1980 she went to the Special Olympics in Lake Placid, New York. Peggy loved watching General Hospital and became Nurse Bracken. She set up a hospital in the basement where she performed operations and delivered babies with her dolls. Surviving are her sisters and brothers, Pam Prior, Pattie (Terry) McNiel, Patrick (Angela) Pindur, Perry Pindur and girlfriend, Jane Zitterkoph; nieces and nephews, Greg (Theresa) Pindur, Mark (Lori) Prior, Michelle (Thomas) Baumgart, Jennifer (Nikie) Prior, Jim McNiel, Julie McNiel, Jason (Erica) McNiel, Sarah (Vincent) Conn, Samantha Pindur, Rachel Marsh; 9 great nieces and nephews; aunts, Ann and Helen Koza, Betty Koza, Betty Switalski. Peggy was preceded in death by her parents, Casimir and Emily Pindur, brother, Paul Pindur, brother-in-law, Ron Prior. The family would like to send a special thank you to Cindy and Dave Partridge for their wonderful care, the staff at V.I.P. and Maple Woods Manor for the wonderful care. Friends may visit the family from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Reigle Funeral Home. A Rosary will be prayed 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10 a.m. Friday, September 5, 2014 at All Saints Catholic Church. Reverend Monsignor Anthony Majchrowski will officiate. Burial will follow at All Saints Catholic Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Area 13 Special Olympics. Share your condolences with the family at www.reiglefuneralhome.com. |
