Donna Marie Speck, 51, a lifetime Lapeer resident, died Saturday, May 26, 2012. Donna was born February 10, 1961 in Lapeer to John and Diane (Sangster) Speck.
Ms. Speck was a substitute teacher for many years primarily in the Lakeville School District, with some occasional work in Lapeer. She loved her children, especially her niece and nephews. Donna really enjoyed doing crafts and playing games. She will be missed by her friends and family.
She is survived by her mother: Diane Sangster of Lapeer, siblings: Bonnie (Richard) Huertas of Gaines, Doug (Lisa) Speck of Swartz Creek, Brad (Dianne) Speck of Bloomfield Hills, John (Amanda) Speck of Metamora, Tom Speck of WV, Valerie Jones of MO, one niece and eight nephews as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Ms. Speck was preceded in death by her father: John Speck.
Visitation will be 4-9pm Tuesday. Funeral service 11:00am Wednesday, May 30, 2012 at Muir Brothers Funeral Home, Lapeer officiated by Pastor Arnold Bracy. Memorial contributions may be made to Brian’s House, Davison.
