OSBORN, Robert A., Sr. – Of Flint, age 65, died Sunday, February 21, 2016 at University Hospitals in Ann Arbor.
Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, February 25, 2016 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Pastor Cory Snyder officiating.
Visitation 1-8 p.m. Wednesday and 9 a.m. Thursday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Cremation will take place following the service.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Genesee County.
Robert was born in Flint, Michigan on October 22, 1950, the son of the late Arthur and Kathleen (Taeckens) Osborn and was a resident of Flint all of his life.
Bob married Kathy on October 2, 2008.
Mr. Osborn retired from General Motors with 30 years of service at Buick City.
Surviving are wife, Kathy;
children, Marcie (Jim) Decker,
Rachel Fee,
Robert (Heather) Osborn, Jr.,
Thomas Osborn, Lance Osborn,
Brandon (Stephanie) Kalman,
Colton Kalman and fiancee’ Katie Parks;
grandchildren, Gavin, Grace, Genna, Jayden, Eden, Olivia, Asher, Landen, Zane and twins, Robert and Evelyn “on the way”;
sister, Sandra Garrett;
special nieces, Robin Hutto, Kellie Grace, Jennifer Lamb and Amy Lum;
mother of his children, Cheryl Osborn;
his dogs, Rocky and Oliver. Duke and Mack preceded him in death.
