Age 72 of Owosso passed away Tuesday, March 12, 2019 at Medilodge in Montrose.
Funeral services will be held 4pm Sunday, March 17, 2019 with Pastor Dave Britton officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 2pm until the time of service.
Linda was born January 16, 1947 in Highland Park, the daughter of Linden and Ilene (Bouvier) Bassett.
She was a LPN nurse and later earned a Bachelor degree in Community Health from Central Michigan University.
Linda enjoyed crocheting, reading, theater, watching movies, ballroom dancing and being outdoors; especially camping and boating but her greatest love was spending time with her children.
She married Henry Andre Gorecki in Warren on August 31, 1968; he predeceased her on October 12, 2011.
Linda was a homemaker and dedicated her life to raising and caring for her family.
She is survived by her daughter Monique and husband Christopher Ferris; son Brian Gorecki; sister Shirley Croteau; other loving family members and friends.
She was predeceased by her husband and her parents.
