GALBREATH, Lois Jeanne - Of Flint, age 89, went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, June 4, 2014 at Medilodge of Montrose.

A memorial service will be held 2pm Thursday, June 26, 2014
at Westwood Heights Free Methodist Church, G3415 West Pierson Road, Flint MI 48504,

Reverend Mark McCormick officiating.

Visitation 1pm Thursday until the time of the service at the church.

Per Jeanne's wishes, cremation has taken place.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to EAMA Guatemala, care of Westwood Heights Free Methodist Church, G3415 West Pierson Road, Flint MI 48504.

Jeanne was born in Nashville, TN on April 9, 1925. She was a resident of Flint since 1948. Jeanne was a member of West Flint Church of the Nazarene. She and her husband, George, were charter members of Westwood Heights Free Methodist Church before leaving to serve as missionaries in Guatemala from 1968 to 1979.

Surviving are son, Jim Galbreath of Potterville;

13 grandchildren;

19 great-grandchildren;

daughters-in-law, DeeAnn Galbreath McCormick of Flint and Kathy Galbreath of Potterville; and son-in-law, Alton Smith of Tawas.

She was preceded in death by her husband, George, in 1986, children, Ann Layne in 2012, Ken Galbreath in 2007, Mary Smith in 2004 and Jon Galbreath in 2010.

Special thank you to the hospice staff from McLaren, especially Jaina, Chiquita, Tami and Todd and the staff at Medilodge for all their care and support.
