ROMANETTO, Raymond P. – of Clio, formerly Mt. Morris, age 82, died Tuesday, December 9, 2014 at Hurley Medical Center. Funeral Services will be held at 12PM on Saturday, December 13, 2014 at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio. Pastor Dan Shinabarger officiating. Private burial in Flint Memorial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 12-8PM and on Saturday from 10AM until the time of service at 12PM. Contributions may be made to the Wounded Warriors Project.

Ray was born on December 10, 1931 in Chicago, Illinois to the late Frank and Mayme (Jansen) Romanetto. He married Betty Marsh on August 20, 1949 and they enjoyed 63 years together. She preceded him in death on March 23, 2013. Mr. Romanetto was a proud U.S. Air Force Veteran and served during the Korean War. Ray was a manager at Hamady Brothers Grocery for 47 years. He was a member of the Leo R. Crow VFW Post #8236 and the F.O.E. Ray’s true passion was bowling and had many 300 games and was part of the Colonial Lanes Bowling League in Flushing. He also enjoyed playing horseshoes, woodworking, camping and going to the casino.

Surviving are: 4 daughters, Susan Potter (companion Ralph Zonak) of Mt. Morris, Cyndi (Mark) Lewis of Houghton Lake, Pamela (Randy) Hilts of Clio, Donna Romanetto of Clio; many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; special cousin, Gary Romanetto; nieces, nephews and cousins.
