JONES, Betty M. – age 89 passed away Sunday, November 27, 2016 at Fostrian Court. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, December 1, 2016 at 10AM at Reigle Funeral Home –m Sunset Chapel – 5501 W. Pierson Rd. Flushing, MI with one hour of visitation prior to the service. Burial will take place at Sunset Hills Cemetery in Flint. Betty was born on July 5, 1927 in Flint, MI to the late Millard and Hazel (Hickmott) Jarrett. She married Earl W. Jones on January 20, 1945. Betty was a member of D.A.V. Auxiliary Chapter 122, Gold Star Wives of America, A.C. Bowling League, and Senior Adventures Travel Club. She was a very generous and giving person and was always there whenever someone needed her help. Betty also enjoyed traveling and spending time gardening. Surviving are her nieces, nephews, and many other family members. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Earl W. Jones; son, Earl W. “Butch” Jones, 2 brothers, and a sister. Those desiring may make contributions in Betty’s memory to the American Cancer Society or the American Diabetes Association.
