Pyscher, Janice E. – of Grand Blanc, age 86, went home to be with her Lord on Tuesday, January 10, 2017, surrounded by her family, at Rosehaven Manor in Flint. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM, Saturday, January 14, 2017, at New Life Christian Fellowship – 2237 East Reid Rd. in Grand Blanc. Pastor Jan Polidan officiating. Burial in Crestwood Cemetery. The family will receive visitors at the O'Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio on Friday from 1-9 PM and at the church on Saturday from 10 AM until the time of service.
Janice was born July 2, 1930, in Flint, Michigan to the late Oscar and Lula (Bedell) DeMott. She graduated from Hoover High School in Flint. Janice married Edsel Pyscher January 28, 1956. He preceded her in death on April 14, 1990. Janice was a member of New Life Christian Fellowship in Grand Blanc. She was also a longtime member of the Hill Toppers at Great Lakes Baptist Church. Janice enjoyed sewing, shopping, gardening and spending time with her grandchildren.
Surviving are: 4 children: Dale Pyscher of Fort Knox, KY., Mark (Karen) Pyscher of Mt. Morris, Susan (Pablo) Juarez of Bryan, TX., and Sally (Brett) Christain of Grand Blanc; 21 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren; Brother, Ronald (Mary) DeMott; Sisters: Norleen (Jack) Bellah and Joy (David) Martin; Janice was also preceded in death by her daughters in law: Dana and Barbara, Grandson, Duncan Pyscher, and brother, Forest. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the nursing staff at Rosehaven Manor and Care Team Hospice for their wonderful care of Janice. A special thank you too to all of the special friends and relatives who have surrounded Janice with love, prayers, and loving care the past years.
