WALE, Larry Dean –of Clio, age 79, died Sunday, August 23, 2020 at his residence. A private Funeral Service will be held at Fellowship Baptist Church in Clio, Michigan. Pastor Darrel Manning officiating. Burial in Birch Run Township Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to the Fellowship Baptist Church in Clio, Michigan.
Larry was born November 26, 1940 in Merrill, Michigan to the late Ernest and Lillie (Moore) Wale. He grew up in Merrill, Michigan and graduated from Merrill High School with the class of 1958. Larry served his country in the US Army from 1962 to 1965. On July 29, 1988 he married Mary Altman in Flint, Michigan. Prior to his retirement in 2000, Larry worked for GM as a Truck Driver at the Buick Plant with 40 years of service. He was a member of the Fellowship Baptist Church and the American Legion Post #4314. Larry enjoyed golfing, bowling, and gardening.
Surviving are: Wife of 32 years Mary Wale; Step Daughter, Carrie Tabit; Siblings, Beatrice Emery, Lillie James, Karen (Fred) Wallin; Brother in laws, Dave (Sandy) Altman, Henry (Barbara) Altman, Nick (Debbie) Altman; several nieces and nephews.
