MALIN, Jessine Cameron – Of Davison, age 87, died Tuesday, November 15, 2011 at Brian's House of Davison. Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, November 17, 2011 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Reverend Joseph Diehl Huston officiating. Burial in Sunset Hills Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or American Heart Association. Visitation 1-3 and 5-8 p.m. Wednesday and 10 a.m. Thursday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Mrs. Malin was born in Boston, Massachusetts on January 2, 1924, the daughter of the late James C. and Christine C. Clark. She married Wayne M. Malin on September 5, 1942 and he preceded her in death in 1974. She married John "Jack" Sims on October 2, 1976 and he preceded her in death in 1994. She was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church in Flint, the Deltona Presbyterian Church in Deltona, FL, the Vero Beach Chapter No. 135 O.E.S. El Said Court No. 28 L.O.S. of N.A., the Sanford Yacht Club in Sanford, FL and the "63 Breakfast Club" in Flint. Mrs. Malin was a former owner of Cotharin's Cleaners in Flint. Surviving are daughter, Christine L. Malin; son, Wayne C. "Skip" and wife Cheryl; grandchildren, Camey (Joe) Duplanty, Douglas (Diann) Crawford Robin (Tracey) Crawford, Darcy K. and Jeffrey P. Malin; ten great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren; special friends, Alyce Kansevich, Elizabeth and Robert Amery, Pam and Bob Bartolucci, Patricia Flaim and Art Smith; many nieces and nephews.
