BROCKRIEDE, Eunice Louise - Age 90, of Swartz Creek, died Thursday September 19, 2019. Funeral services will be held 1PM Tuesday, September 24, at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek. Burial will follow in Sunset Hills Cemetery, Flint. Visitation will be held 10AM until time of service on Tuesday. Those desiring may make contributions to the Alzheimer's Association. Eunice was born December 13, 1928 in Flint, the daughter of the late Fred and Louise (Fuelsack) Guthrie. She married Elmer Brockriede in Flint on July 15, 1950 and he preceded her in death on October of 2015. Eunice enjoyed traveling, cooking, bowling and spending time with her family. Surviving are: son, David L. Brockriede of Fenton; grandchildren, Jessica (Joshua) Whitley of Ortonville; Christopher (Samantha Boatwright) of Grand Blanc; and 7 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sisters, Mary Guthrie of Flushing and Marsha Rice of Evart. She was also preceded in death by her sisters, Freida Geisler, Dorothy Monk and Brother Robert Guthrie.
