PRICE, Dorothy Charlotte - age 94, of Flint, passed away peacefully Easter Sunday. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Tuesday, April 25, 2017 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek with Pastor Jerry Foster officiating. Interment will be held 3:30 PM Tuesday, April 25 at Warren Township Cemetery in Coleman, MI. Visitation will be held 6:30 - 8:30 PM Monday and 10 AM - 11 AM Tuesday at the funeral home. She was born in Flint, MI, May 17, 1922 to the late Cloyce and Freda (Schrader) Miller. She attended Flint Central High School. She married Clifford Price on January 21, 1946 in Alma and he preceded her in death on February 25, 1976. She worked at Woodland Elementary in the lunchroom for many years. Although she had no children of her own, many considered her as "Mom." This included her many nieces and nephews. There are four great nieces and nephews who she considered her grandchildren; Tyler, Megan, Connor and Hannah Boike. They cherished her and she loved them beyond measure. Her never ending love, support and perfect mashed potatoes will never be forgotten. Dorothy attended Roosevelt Avenue, Bethel Park and Westwood Heights Free Methodist Churches throughout the years. Her love for the Lord was evident in everything she did. She is survived by: her sister and best friend, Lois Florkowski, a brother, Ervin Miller; sisters-in-law, Bonnie Miller, Darline Miller and Susan Miller; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by: her parents; her husband; brothers, Cloyce, Ralph, Kenneth, Donald, Darwin and Frederick; brother-in-law, Daniel Florkowski; sisters-in-law, Patricia, Cecilia, Joann and Ilene; and several nephews.
