JONES, Kenneth L. – of Davison, age 86, passed away Sunday, June 8, 2014 at his residence. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11 AM Wednesday, June 11, 2014 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 404 N. Dayton St., Davison; Rev. Fr. Andrew Czajkowski celebrant. Burial, with Military Honors, will be in St. John Catholic Cemetery. There will be one hour of visitation prior to the Mass on Wednesday.
Kenneth was born in Flint, MI on May 4, 1928, son of the late Roy and Mable (Gillooley) Sutton. He married Dorothy Marilyn Horton on April 7, 1951 at St. Agnes Church in Flint. She preceded him in death on December 22, 1999. He was the owner of Ken’s Kustom Kitchens. Kenneth was a member of the Davison K of C Council and St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. He enjoyed hunting and boating in his spare time.
Kenneth is survived by his children, Keith Jones, Kathy Kelly-Chheda, Karen Spinney, Kerry (Kelly) Jones, Kelly (Rick) Vega, Kris Jones; 18 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Kavita Chheda on July 14, 2001. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Elizabeth Iaquinto for all of her passionate care.
