SUBORA, Bythia “Beth” Beardsley (Bird) – of Lapeer, MI, age 94, passed away Friday, January 31, 2020. A Funeral Service will be held 1 PM Sunday, February 2, 2020 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Road, Davison, MI 48423; Deacon Thomas Manney officiating. Interment in Bird Cemetery. The family will receive visitors 12-1 PM Sunday, February 2, 2020 at Allen Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the COPD Foundation, in Beth’s memory.
Beth was born in Elba Township, MI on October 13, 1925, daughter of the late John and Laura (Carpenter) Bird. She enjoyed many hobbies including playing the organ, sewing, reading and traveling with her husband. Beth also enjoyed spending time with her family and caring for her grandchildren, nieces, nephews and step-children.
Beth is survived by her daughter, Jill Yorton; 2 grandchildren, Teri (Thomas) Manney and Ken (Tracey) Duty; 2 great-grandchildren, Halle Davis and D.J. Davis; 6 step-children, Pam, Ron, Roger, Maureen, Denise and Sue; many other loving family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Laura Bird; 7 siblings and husband, Walter Subora.
