OSGOOD, Judith Adelle – Age 80, of Clayton Twp., went to be with her Lord, Monday, December 1, 2014 at her residence. Judith was born December 15, 1933 in Ashland, Pennsylvania, the daughter of the late Anthony and Mildred (Wislausky) Mincavage. On November 20, 1954 Judith married Vern W. Osgood Jr. She was a 1954 graduate of Pottstown, PA Hospital School of Nursing and retired as a registered nurse from McLaren Regional Medical Center on January 1, 2011. Judith enjoyed quilting, spending time with her family at their cottage up north, and loved her dog Buddy very much. Surviving are children, Regina (John) Arini, Deborah (Gregory) Clark, Vern Anthony (Pamela) Osgood, Joanne Paul; grandchildren, Janelle (Brian) Boosi, Brian Osgood, Gary Osgood, Jason Osgood, Kyle Clark, Lauren Arini, Mitchell Paul, Benedict Arini; great grandson, William Boosi; sisters, Alice Bucher, Marianna (Robert) Hartz. She was preceded in death by her parents, Anthony and Mildred Mincavage; husband, Vern W. Osgood Jr.; and siblings, Virginia and Daniel. Friends may visit the family from 3 to 8 p.m. on Monday, December 8, 2014 at Brown Funeral Home, 1480 E. Hill Rd., Grand Blanc, MI. A Rosary will be prayed 7 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, December 9, 2014 at 11AM at St. John Vianney Catholic Church, 2415 Bagley St., Flint, MI, with one hour of visitation prior to the service. Father Thomas Firestone will officiate. Burial will follow at Great Lakes National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make contributions to the St. John Vianney Catholic School or the charity of one's choice.
