REED, Mary E. – of Birch Run, age 81, went home to be with her Lord on Tuesday, February 4, 2020 at Maple Woods Manor or Clio. Funeral services will be held 11AM Monday, February 10, 2020 at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio. Elder Garfield Cooper officiating. Burial in Birch Run Township Cemetery. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Sunday from 1PM until 6PM and on Monday from 10AM until the time of service at 11AM. Memorial contributions may be made to Mt. Morris Church of Christ.
Mary was born July 6, 1938 in Leachville, Arkansas to the late Charles and Carra (Nelson) Eaves. She married Doyle J. Reed on November 14, 1952 in Lepanto, Arkansas. He preceded her in death on September 25, 1992. Mary was a very faithful member of Mt. Morris Church of Christ and enjoyed giving back anyway she could, especially to families around Thanksgiving and Christmas. She enjoyed attending church, rummage sales, couponing, cooking, and camping. Above all, Mary loved her family, and spending time with her grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
Surviving are: Daughters: Sue Booth, and Patricia (Kevan) Skidmore; Sons: David (LuAnn) Reed, Michael (Lisa) Reed, and Brad (Dawn) Reed; 13 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren; Several nieces and nephews.
