NYMAN, Doris D. – of Flint, (formerly of Abbey Park) age 94, passed away Friday, August 14, 2015 at the Pines of Goodrich. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Tuesday, August 18, 2015 at the Brown Funeral Home, 1480 E. Hill Road, Grand Blanc, MI with Fr. Gary McInnis officiating. Entombment follows at New Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Visitation 4 to 8 p.m. Monday. Mrs. Nyman was born May 29, 1921 in Lowell, Massachusetts the daughter of the late Alfred and Delia Doyan. She was very devoted to her faith and had been a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Flint. Mrs. Nyman was also involved with the G.C.A.R.C. for many years. She loved shopping and was a wonderful mother and wife and was a very devoted grandmother and great-grandmother. Surviving are: children, Gary (Esther) Nyman of St. Louis, MI, George A. (Bettina) Nyman of Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, Marilyn Suszek of Lake Orion, and Philip Nyman of St. Louis, MI; four grandchildren, Kathy (Davie)Bush, David Nyman, Christen Suszek and Caitlin (Christopher) Bentoski; five great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and friends. Mrs. Nyman was preceded in death by her husband, George Nyman; brothers, Joseph (Fred) Doyon and Raymond Doyon; and sister, Anna Flood.
