GAVRILOFF, Donald Rowett – Of Swartz Creek, age 81, died Friday, February 16, 2018 at McLaren-Flint.
Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, February 21, 2018 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Pastor Bob Leming officiating.
Burial in Great Lakes National Cemetery at 12:30 p.m. Thursday, February 22, 2018.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
Visitation 5-8 pm. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Donald was born in Southgate, California on November 3, 1936 the son of the late Peter and Evelyn (Rice) Gavriloff.
Donald graduated from Mandeville High School in Flint in the Class of 1955.
On December 23, 1961 he married Rosalie Bradford at Lincoln Park Methodist Church in Flint.
Mr. Gavriloff was in car sales and insurance.
Surviving are daughter, Cheryl and husband Robert Ashford of Swartz Creek;
brothers, David Gavriloff of Atlanta, Georgia and Douglas Gavriloff of Rock, Michigan;
sister-in-law, Donna Cornelison of Flint, MI and
nephew, Matthew Gavriloff of Escanaba, MI.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Rosalie.
