Mary Alice Stephenson of Flushing, age 70, died Wednesday, August 15, 2012 at Hurley Medical Center. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Thursday, August 23, 2012 at Flushing Presbyterian Church, Rev. Teresa Peterson officiating. Cremation will follow the service. Visitation will be 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. and 4-8 p.m. Wednesday at Rossell Funeral Home and 10 a.m. until time of the service Thursday at the church. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
Mary was born in Flint, MI on October 3, 1941, the daughter of William and Minnie (Palmer) Allie. She married Marvin D. Stephenson in Flint on July 25, 1964. She had worked as a L.P.N. and later owned Flint Regional Roofing. She was a member of the Flushing Presbyterian Church.
Mary is survived by: husband, Marvin; three sons, Scott and wife Sherri of Georgia, Craig of Flushing, Brad and wife Colleen of Flushing; eight grandchildren, Mackenzie, Garret, Brock, Joshua, Shane, Molly, Alexandria, Ava; two brothers, Russ Allie of Florida, Ronald and wife Carol Allie of Linden; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, William. |
