Bringold, Verna May - Age 92, of New Baltimore, formerly of Reese, died July 23, 2024. Memorial service will be held 11:30 AM Wednesday, August 14 at Faith Lutheran Church 12534 Holly Rd. Grand Blanc. Visitation will be held 10 AM until the time of the service at the church. In lieu of flowers those desiring may make contributions to Alzheimers Association Verna was born August 14, 1931 in Saginaw, the daughter of Arthur and Frances (Sommer) Spiekerman. She married Wallace Carl Bringold on July 17, 1954 in Reese, Mi., he preceded her in death on May 4, 2023. Verna grew up in and settled in Reese raising 5 children. She was a homemaker. Verna was the town's seamstress, making wedding dresses, leisure suits. She was magic with sewing, knitting and crocheting. Verna was very active in the church and involved with her family. She is survived by her children, Carole Avery of Ohio, Cheryl (Gary) Law of Ortonville, Sue (Mike) Allen of Ithica, Mark (Suzy) Bringold of Reese; 17 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; brother, Harley Spikerman of Merril. Verna was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Eunice (John) Allen, Charles (Majorie) Spiekerman, Ramon Spiekerman, Harley (Bonnie) Spiekerman, Glenn (Dorothy) Spiekerman, Verne (Marilyn) Spiekerman, Ina (David) Navarro, Ida (Herbert) Stockmeyer.
