FISHER, Beverly A.- Age 85, of Linden, died Saturday, June 6, 2015. Funeral services will be held 3:00 PM Tuesday, June 9, at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton. Pastor Joyce Beemer officiating. Visitation will be held 1:00 PM until the time of service on Tuesday. Those desiring may make contributions to Habitat for Humanity.
Beverly was born January 5, 1930 in Flint, the daughter of William Milo and Frances (Beemer) Martin. She was a graduate of Beecher High School and attended Flint Jr. College and Eastern Michigan University, where she received her Bachelors in Education. She and her husband Jack Sr. moved to Linden in 1966, coming from Flint where Jack was a Police officer. She taught in Mt. Morris and Lake Fenton Schools. Beverly retired from Linden Middle School. She was a member of the Red Hat Society, Carmen and Loose Senior Centers. She enjoyed social activity and had a zest for life and loved to travel.
Beverly is survived by her five children, Jill Buckalew of Linden, Marta Fisher of Linden, Desdi (David) Hall of Flint, Francie Fisher and companion Morris Spears of Byron, Kirk Fisher and fiance Cyrena of Fl; eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Jack Sr.; son, Jack Jr. and brother, Ted Martin.
