Oleyar, Evelyn P. of Flushing, age 85, died Saturday, October 11, 2014, at HealthSource Saginaw. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, October 18, 2014, at Rossell Funeral Home. Rev. Teresa Peterson will officiate. Cremation will follow the services. Visitation will be 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer’s Association.
Evelyn was born in Flint, MI on June 14, 1929, the daughter of Emil and Mary (Pavlick) Kreycik. She married David Oleyar in 1948.
Evelyn graduated from Flushing High School in the Class of 1947. She assisted her husband on the family farm and enjoyed painting figurines, sewing, and fishing.
She is survived by her husband, David; two children, Lynann and husband Kurt Dahlberg, David and wife Terry Oleyar; three grandchildren, Catherine Williams, David and wife Marilyn Oleyar, Leane Oleyar; two great-grandchildren; brother, Gene and wife Marianne Kreycik. She was preceded in death by her parents and a son, Mitchell Oleyar. |
