Evelyn Mildred Campbell of Lapeer formerly of Davison, age 94, died Wednesday July 29, 2020 at Lapeer County Medical Care Facility. Private funeral services will be held t 1:00 pm Monday August 3, 2020 at Hansen Funeral Home Groves Chapel, Downtown Davison. Rev. Sarah LaRose-Nettell officiating, burial will follow at Davison Cemetery. Family will receive visitors from 1-4 pm Sunday at the funeral home. Due to CDC Guidelines social distancing and limited amount of visitors at one time will be followed. The family would like you to join them but understand you may or may not at this time and respect your decision. Those desiring may make contributions in Evelyn’s memory to the Suncrest Auxiliary or St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
Evelyn was born in Avoca Michigan on September 7, 1925 the daughter of the late George W. & Martha D.A. (Nuss) Hearn and has resided in the Davison-Burton area most of her life. She was joined in marriage to Gordon Campbell November 1941 and he preceded her in death April 1988. She was a member of Davison Business & Professional Organization, and a proud member of the Local UAW. She had been employed by General Motors Ternstedt Division retiring in 1982.
Surviving is daughters: Sandra (Gary) Lehr, and Cheryl (Wayne) Engle. She also leaves her loving six grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren, and a host of extended family and friends. Evelyn is preceded in death by son Alan Campbell in 2006. Please share your condolences at www.hansenfuneralhome.net
