KRAJNIAK, Katie – of Burton, age 16, passed away May 27, 2016. A Funeral Service will be held 11 AM Friday, June 3, 2016 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison; Pastor Sarah LaRose-Nettell officiating. Burial will be in Flint Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be 3-8 PM Thursday and 10 AM until time of service on Friday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family.
Katie was born in Flint, MI on March 13, 2000, daughter of Albert and Stephanie (Mathews) Krajniak. She was a student at Bendle High School in Burton. Katie was a softball player in school and played first base. She was sassy, smart, perfect, beautiful and a princess. Katie was loved by everyone, full of laughter, energy and adored by her brother. She ran on her own time, leader of the pack, very independent and ambitious. Katie loved shopping, clothes, fuzzy socks, ice cream and especially her friends. She will be missed by so many.
Katie is survived by her parents, Albert and Stephanie; brother, Alex (Kayla Kimball); grandparents, Henry A. Krajniak and Donna (Darwin) Newcombe; great-grandma, Margaret Krajniak; aunts, Lori (Jim) Wilkerson, Kim (Kermit) Crossen and Madonna (Cliffy) Tallman; uncles, Steven (Jane) Mathews, Jimmy Newcombe and Gerald Krajniak; special cousins, Kyle Krupa, Sarrah McKinstry, Karter Wilkerson, Josh, Jodie, Amanda, Morgan, Hunter and Jarid; boyfriend, Willie Powers; many friends, including best friends, Ella, Kaylee; beloved four legged pal, Simba. She was preceded in death by grandparents, Duane Mathews and Sandy Krajniak. A special thank you to the Kimball and LaRose families for all their kindness and love.
