TUCKER, Shirley Jean - Age 76, of Swartz Creek, died Saturday, January 6, 2018. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, January 10, 2018 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek. Minister Paul Holland officiating. Burial in Flint Memorial Park, Mt. Morris. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Monday, from 4-8, Tuesday from 1-4 and 5-8 PM, and Wednesday from 10:00 AM until the time of the service. Those desiring may make contributions to Swartz Creek Church of Christ, 4410 Seymour Road, Swartz Creek, MI 48473.
Shirley was born March 6, 1941 in Flint, the daughter of James and Tennie (Honea) Prescott. She married Donald Wayne Tucker May 29, 1957 in Flint. She had resided in Swartz Creek for the past 32 years coming from New Lothrop. She was a member of Swartz Creek Church of Christ.
Surviving are: her husband of 60 years, Donald; 4 children, Dona (Rob) Oakman of Swartz Creek, Vicki Tucker of Flint, Robbie Tucker (Tammy) of Swartz Creek, and Leah (Brian) Hinson of Flint; 3 grandchildren, Daniel Tucker (Lisa Behrenbrinker) of Birch Run, Sara Tucker (Josh Feasel) of Flint, and Gabriel Hinson of Flint; 2 great grandchildren, Weston and Amara; uncle, Eugene Honea of Davison; special family friend, Michelle Montpas; and several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
