Lee, William David of Flushing, age 72, died Thursday, November 19, 2015, in Flint. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Monday, November 23, 2015, at Rossell Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Sunset Hills Cemetery. Visitation will be 1-8 p.m. Sunday and 12-1 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
William was born in Ashville, North Carolina on March 28, 1943, the son of Oscar and Thelma (Thorpe) Lee. He married Edna “Kay” Horton in Flint, Michigan in 1961. William had worked at General Motors for 38 years. He was a Lieutenant at the Mt. Morris Township Fire Department. William was a member at the Flushing Moose Lodge for over 35 years. He enjoyed woodworking and gardening.
William is survived by his wife, Edna “Kay”; children, Terri (Gary) Ijames, Donna (Brad) McKenna, Karen (J.D.) Riggs, Dana (Kevin) Harris; thirteen grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; brother, Ronald (Laura); sister, Patricia Pena; extended family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Scott; sister, Mavis; brother, Robert; and brother-in-law, Hector. |
