David Oleyar, of Saginaw, Michigan, formerly of Flushing, died Wednesday, April 22, 2020. Due to Covid Pandemic we are unable to have funeral service at this time. Memorial Service details to come. Burial at Flushing Cemetery. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to The Shriner Hospital for Children.
David was born in Flushing, Michigan on October 23, 1928 to Michael and Anna Oleyar. He graduated from Flushing High School where he met his wife, Evelyn Kreycik. Both were very dedicated to the Flushing Presbyterian Church. David and Evelyn were married on June 19, 1949. She preceded him in death in 2014. David worked for 44 years at Buick and was also a farmer. He was a dedicated 3rd Degree Master Mason, Scottish Rite Mason, member of Grand Commandry Knights Templar of Michigan, as well as the Flint Chapter of Shriners.
He is survived by his children, Lynann (Kurt) Dahlberg, David Oleyar; grandchildren, Catherine Williams, David Oleyar, Leanne Oleyar, Mitchell Rasmussen, and many great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Evelyn, his son Mitchell, his parents Michael and Anna, and siblings, Helen, Mary, Michael, and Joseph. |
