Thomas E. Kiits, age 83, of North Branch passed away on July 1, 2019 at McLaren/Lapeer Regional Hospital. Tom was born on May 6, 1936, the son of Albert William and Ruth (Corrigan Paul) Kitts. Tom grew up in Clifford, MI . On August 10, 1956, Tom married his sweetheart Filena (tuts) Fricke in North Branch. Tom worked for GM as an accounting clerk. He also worked for North Branch Area Schools as a bus driver. Tom was a member of the North Branch Lions Club. He enjoyed golf, bowling, camping and spending time with the guys at the coffee table. Tom is survived by his daughters, Kathryn (Daniel) Rhode of North Branch and Suzanne Rogers of North Branch; his son, Thomas ( ) Kitts Jr. of Lapeer; 8 grandchildren and 9 great-children; plus too many nephews and nieces to list. He was preceded in death by his parents; Uncle Ed and Aunt Helen; brothers, Paul, Burr (John Paul) , twins, Bill and Bob and Paul Kitts; sister, Margaret Hoig, Visitation for Tom will be Sunday, July 7, 2019, 12:00 P.M.-8 :00 P.M. at Blackburn Chapel. On Monday, July 8, 2019, visitation will be 10:00 A.M.-11:00 A.M. with Funeral Service at 11:00 A.M. at Blackburn Chapel. Deacon Peter Lynch will be officiating. Tom will be laid to rest at Rich Township Cemetery.
