HAWKINS, Jeannie E. - Of Flint, age 84, died Friday, September 26, 2014 at Genesys Convalescent Center.
Memorial service will be held 2pm Thursday, October 2, 2014 at North Flushing Baptist Church, 7500 West Mt. Morris Road, Flushing, MI,
Pastor Dale Lewis officiating.
Burial of cremains in Albion Memory Gardens in Albion, MI at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the family.
Jeannie was born in Hillsdale, MI on April 14, 1930 the daughter of the late Frank and Almeda (Baker) Aldrich. On May 4, 1955, she married Edward Cecil Hawkins, Sr. in Mason, Michigan.
Surviving are children, Hugh (Christine) Sperling, Joy (Dennis) Jones, Betty (Ron) Jones, Kay (Ivan) Wamsley, Edward C. Hawkins, Jr., Diane Kienutske, Debra (Neil) Scott and Joseph Hawkins;
numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren;
and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward, Daughter, Linda Nichols and parents.
