STAMM, Eugenia “Genia” Lynn (Howell) – of Flint, MI, age 55, passed away Thursday, September 28, 2017. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held 2 PM Saturday, October 7, 2017 at St. John the Baptist Episcopal Church, 5811 Forest Ave., Otter Lake, MI 48464; The Rev. Ann Norton officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Genesys Hurley Cancer Institute, in Genia’s memory.
Genia was born in Flint, MI on August 8, 1962, daughter of Margaret (Acre) Kerr and the late John Harvey Kerr. For the last 20 years, Genia was employed as the Office Manager with Dr. John Isaac, DDS. Genia enjoyed knitting, gardening, crafting and spending time with her family. She was loved by everyone who knew her and her unforgettable smile will be deeply missed.
Genia is survived by 2 children, Nicole (Brandon) Winters and Doug (Amalia Kondyles) Stamm; husband, Troy Stamm; 2 brothers, Jeff Kerr and John Kerr; sister, Terri Wamsley; the office staff of Dr. John Isaac, DDS; many other loving family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her aunt and uncle, Winona and Vic Gifford.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the physicians and staff of Hurley Medical Center and the Genesys Hurley Cancer Institute for their professional and compassionate care of Genia.
