ROY, Vincent L. – Of Grand Blanc, age 84, died Thursday, January 29, 2015 at Genesys Regional Medical Center.
Memorial Service will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, February 8, 2015 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, officiated by Vincent’s nephew, Dr. Jim Duncan LTC, US Army (Ret.).
Per Vincent’s wishes, cremation has taken place.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
Visitation 1 p.m. Sunday until the time of the service at the funeral home. Interment will take place 11am Monday, February 9, 2015 at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, Michigan.
Surviving are loving wife of 58 years, Mary Lou;
two children, Bill and wife Katherine Roy of Lapeer,
Darcell and husband Mark Johnston of Sammamish, WA;
three grandchildren, Billy and wife Jessica Roy of Swartz Creek,
Kenneth and wife Anjuli Johnston of North Bend, WA and
Courtney Johnston of Seattle, WA;
great-granddaughter, Skylar Roy;
sister, Donna Duncan of Bay City;
two brothers-in-law, Clyde Biddle of Flint and Don Biddle of Houghton Lake, MI;
sister-in-law, Judy and husband Harold Folk of Jackson, MI;
several nieces and nephews.
