SHANNON, Beverly Louise – Of Flint, age 75, died Tuesday, July 16, 2019 at her residence.
Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, at the funeral home, Pastor Sarah LaRose-Nettell officiating.
The family will receive visitors 2-8 p.m. Friday, July 19, 2019 and 1 p.m. Saturday, July 20, 2019 until the time of the service at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road.
Burial in Crestwood Cemetery.
Beverly was born on October 2, 1943 in Holly, Michigan, the
daughter of Harold E. and Ester M. (Stowell) Williams.
On May 1, 1993 she married Gerald Shannon.
Beverly enjoyed camping, crafts, baking, spending time with family and attending Calvary Community Church.
Surviving are children, Kimberly and husband Steve Diamond,
Donald and wife Renee Chittick,
Cynthia and husband Joseph LaRose,
Richard and wife Jennifer Chittick;
stepchild, Robert and wife Donna Shannon;
12 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild;
sisters and brother, Barbara Pratt, Norma and husband Jim Tilley, Janice VanGilder and Larry Williams;
many special nieces, nephews; special friends, Mary Despain-Compton and Marion Horn.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald Shannon; parents, Harold E. Williams and Ester M. Stowell; sister-in-law, Lorraine Williams.
