RIVARD-TOWNSEND, Connie J. – of Birch Run, age 72, died Tuesday, July 23, 2019 at McLaren – Flint. Funeral services will be held at 11AM Monday, July 29, 2019 at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio. Pastor Ed Emmerling officiating. Burial in Birch Run Township Cemetery. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Sunday from 2PM until 8PM and on Monday from 10AM until the time of service at 11AM.
Connie was born December 11, 1946 in Saginaw, Michigan to the late Michael and Gladys (Kisser) Lenhart. She married John Rivard on January 8, 1966. He preceded her in death on August 22, 2008. Connie later married Wayne Townsend on December 20, 2018. She loved playing bingo, scratch off lottery tickets, trips to the casino, and her dog, Romeo. Above all, she loved spending time with her family and was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.
Surviving are: Husband, Wayne Townsend; Son, Andy (Michele) Rivard; Daughter, Tammy (Darryll) Dzielinski; Stepchildren: Courtney (Nick) Chenard, and Nicholas (Allison) Townsend; Grandchildren: Aaron Rivard, Tyler (Kayley) Rivard, Dustin Dzielinski, Sarah (Jerry) Littlejohn, and Stella Chenard; Siblings: Peggy, Terry, Larry, Debbie, Denny, Linda, and Julie; Loving furry companion, Romeo.
