CUMPATA, John- of Davison, age 93, passed away March 31, 2020 at Abbey Park. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
John was born in Aurora, Illinois on January 3, 1927. John married Rose Waseleski on December 29, 1951 in their home and she preceded him in death on November 22, 2017. He served in the United States Army during WWII. John was a member of St. Robert Catholic Church, All Saints Parish and most recently St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. He was a wood worker and loved building furniture. John traveled anywhere, visiting stores and family. He worked at General Motors retiring in 1990.
John is survived by his sons, Greg, Gary (JoEllen), Rodney (Laura); grandchildren, Emily, Kathryn, Ella and Jack. He was preceded in death by his daughter-in-law, Chris.
