MILLER, ARTHUR F.
Through his children’s eyes, he couldn’t have been a better father. He was protective of his family, nurturing, a wonderful provider, strong yet gentle, brave and courageous, smart and classy. Whether he wrapped his big arms around us, smudged our noses with oil or squeezed our shoulders with his big strong hands, we knew how much he loved us. We feel very fortunate to have had the honor to be called his “works of Art”. He was our hero.
To Art’s many friends and customers over the years, on his behalf we thank you for all the decades of customer loyalty and friendships spanning over his lifetime. He wouldn’t have wanted it any other way.
Beloved son, husband, father, grandfather and brother passed away on Wednesday, February 29, 2012. Age 82 years young. Arthur Miller was born on March 3, 1929 in Saginaw to the late David and Erma (Kuehn) Miller. He was married to Arbutus (Artie Ordway) on December 13, 1952 and shared almost 60 wonderful years together. Art graduated from Arthur Hill Trade School in 1947 and Arthur Hill High School in 1948. Shortly after, he joined the U.S. Navy. Art fought in the Korean War and was very proud to have served his country. He worked for Jameson Machine Company and Allied Tool & Machine a number of years.
