Edwards, Curtis Bruce -Age 79, of Swartz Creek, died Friday, May 25, 2018. Private Graveside Services will be held for immediate family at 2PM Thursday, May 31, 2018 at Great Lakes National Cemetery, 4200 Belford Road, Holly. Curtis was born on August 25, 1938 in Flint to Harry and Eva (McWilliams) Edwards. He was a veteran of the United States Army. He married Karen Lavrack on January 30, 1960 in Flint. He has resided in Swartz Creek since 1979 coming from Flint. Curtis worked in the Billing Department at General Motors, retiring in 1996. He was a member of the Swartz Creek Senior Center. Surviving are his wife of 58 years, Karen; children, Curtis (Ragena) Edwards and Anthony Edwards and Laurie (John) Babb all of Swartz Creek; grandchildren, Matthew (Cathy) Edwards of Bay City, Angela (Matthew) Warila of Clarkston, Joshua (Jaclyn) Edwards of Swartz Creek, Amanda Edwards of Swartz Creek, Ashley and Jacob Babb of Swartz Creek; great-grandchildren, Savannah, Cheyannah, Austin, Ava, Myla, Weston and Owen; sister-in-law, Bonnie Edwards of Flint; several nieces and nephews.
