HARGER, Robert T. – of Otisville, age 68, passed away Tuesday, July 16, 2013 at McLaren-Flint. A Funeral Service will be held 11 AM Saturday, July 20, 2013 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison; Elder Lola Robson officiating. Burial will be in Meadowview Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 5-8 PM Thursday and 12-8 PM Friday. On Saturday, visitation will be from 10 AM until the time of service. A Memorial Service under the auspices of Davison Eagles Aerie #3589 will be held 7 PM Friday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Pulmonary Rehabilitation Program.
Robert was born in Flint, MI on November 12, 1944, son of the late Howard and Frances (Srda) Harger. He married Constance D. Anderson at Davison First Baptist church on May 8, 1965. Robert was a member of the Davison Eagles, where he served as a trustee. He enjoyed playing pool, golf, euchre and scrabble. Robert was a jokester and loved to tease family and friends. He worked at General Motors for 36 ½ years as a Fork Truck Driver.
Robert is survived by his wife, Connie; son, Terry (Kim); grandchildren, Joshua (Kaitlyn) and Jordan; brothers, Howard (Harriet) and Larry; sisters, Karen (Paul) Stimson, Vickie Ryckman, Nancy (Ken) Wilde, Sharon Harger; many nieces and nephews.
