ADAMS, Robert “Bobby” Jr. – of Montrose, age 54, died Monday, October 15, 2018 at Covenant Hospital in Saginaw with his daughters by his side. Funeral services will be held 4PM, Friday, October 19, 2018 at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Montrose. Roberts uncle, Reverend Jeff Glann officiating. Cremation to follow. Family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Thursday from 5PM until 8PM and on Friday from 1PM until the time of service at 4PM. Memorial contributions may be made to Montrose Athletics.
Bobby was born June 23, 1964 in Flint, Michigan to Robert and Bonnie (Ealy) Adams Sr. He graduated from Montrose High School in 1982. Bobby retired from General Motors in 2012 with 27 years seniority and was a member of UAW Local #651. He enjoyed sports, especially golf, softball, and basketball. Bobby was a huge University of Michigan fan and also loved riding his tractor. Above all else, he loved his daughters more than anything in the world.
Surviving are: Daughters: Kylie (Jacob) Duley and Kassidi Adams; Mother, Bonnie Adams; Brothers: Bruce Adams and Jimmy (Rhonda) Adams; Mother of his children, Coetta Adams; Nieces and nephews: Aaron, Jared, Brittany, Trevor, Hannah, Noah, and Eric; Best pal, Copper and many aunts, uncles and dear friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Adams; Father-in-law, Tony Hromek and canine companion, Lexi. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Covenant Hospital and the Care Staff at Medilodge for their compassionate care of Bobby. They would also like to thank family and friends for their unconditional help and support during difficult times.
