Norma Anderson (Jane), of Flint,
Passed away on September 24th, 2024, at McLaren Lapeer Region Hospital at the age of 83.
Jane was born on February 19th, 1941 to Edna and Bill Collins. She graduated from Dye High School in Flint, in 1959. Jane retired from GM in 2001.
Jane was an avid book reader, loved spending time with her grandchildren, playing Mahjong, playing card/board games, gardening, was a very gifted artist in ceramics, and loved to paint.
Jane married her high school sweetheart on September 17th, 1960. She is survived by her husband Marvin Anderson; three children, Rick (Barb) Anderson, Glenn (Karen) Anderson, and Kelly (Joe) Gasper; grandchildren, Russell, Erik, Madeline, Nicholas, and Caitlyn; great-grandson Atlas; siblings, twin sister Jean Schopieray, Linda Payer, Patsy LaPorte, Bill Collins Jr., Frank Collins.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Edna Collins; and brother John (Mick) Smith.
No services will be held at this time. |
