RICKMAN, Gracie “Earline” – of Flint, age 83, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on October 8, 2012. A Funeral Service will be held 11:00 AM Friday, October 12, 2012 at Davison Assembly of God, 1234 S. Gale Rd., Davison. Pastor Morris Moos and Pastor Dean Gardner co-officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Hills Cemetery. Visitation will be 1-4 and 6-8 PM Thursday at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison. There will be one hour of visitation prior to the service on Friday at the church. Memorial Contributions may be made to Davison Assembly of God or the Salvation Army.
Earline was born in Leachville, Arkansas on February 21, 1929, daughter of the late Ernest and Annis (Barnes) Morris. She married Russell Rickman on January 10, 1948. Earline was a member of Davison Assembly of God. She worked as a waitress at Kewpee’s Restaurant and retired as a cashier from Feke and Yott groceries.
Earline is survived by her husband Russell; son, Darrell (Mary Lynn) Rickman; grandchildren, Shari (Tim) Bayer, Staci (Stephen Cole) Rickman; great-grandchildren, Christian, Grace and Charley Bayer; many nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly; sister, Vaudine Newman. She was preceded in death by her siblings, Pauline Bailey, Estine Rolfe, Herman Morris and Sherman Morris.
