BUSHEY, Peter Daniel. - of Clio, age 72, died Monday, November 17, 2014 at his residence. Funeral services will be held at 1PM on Friday, November 21, 2014 at the O'Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio. Pastor Erik Cloeter officiating. Burial in Flint Memorial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 10AM until the time of service at 1PM.
Peter was born on March 2, 1942 in Kinde, Michigan to the late Leo and Bernice (Champagne) Bushey. He married Shirley Ritthaler on May 28, 1966. Peter retired from Reinforced Ironworkers Local 25 as a Journeyman Ironworker and Certified Welder. Mr. Bushey was a member of Messiah Lutheran Church in Clio. He was a loving and caring husband and father. Peter was well known for his overwhelming generosity and heart; he gave willingly to family, friends and neighbors. He was liked and loved by all and will be greatly missed.
Surviving are: loving wife, Shirley Bushey of Clio; son, Jeffrey Bushey; daughter, Tammy Bushey; 1 grandson, Ryan Bushey; 2 sisters, Elaine Zielaskowski of Alpena and Shirley Tibor of Ossineke; 4 brothers, Don and Joe Bushey of Spruce, Jerry Bushey of Black River, Michael Bushey of Arcadia, FL and Dennis Bushey of Ossineke; 2 furry friends, Peaches and Snickers; Peter was preceded in death by his 2 sisters, Mary McIlhargie and Pat Papin; 4 brothers, John, Edward (Mel), Russell and Alex.
