GRADY, Lou Ann “Ann” – Of Flint, age 81, died Tuesday, April 25, 2017 at Genesee Care Center.
Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, April 28, 2017 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Pastor Timothy Works officiating.
Burial in Crestwood Cemetery.
Visitation 4-8 p.m. Thursday and 12 p.m. Friday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Lou Ann was born in Des Arc, Arkansas on May 23, 1935 and was a resident of the Flint area since 1954.
She was a member of Liberty Missionary Baptist Church.
Mrs. Grady was employed by Carman-Ainsworth School District for 30 years, retiring in 1993.
Surviving are 6 children, Dee Andrews of Holland,
Patty Dallaire of Grand Blanc,
Keith Grady of Swartz Creek,
Jerry Grady of Alabama,
Christina Irish and Robert Grady, both of Flint;
grandchildren, Wesley Grady, Rob Moore, Tara Moore, Chelsea Andrews, Dylan Grady, Abigail Dufore, Katelyn Dufore, Cameron Irish and Miles Grady;
great-grandchildren, Michael, Destiny, Denaesia, Zachery and Autumn;
one brother, David Calhoun of California;
many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William; parents, Henry and Della Calhoun; brother, Harold Calhoun and sister, Gloria Shray.
