DUGAS, Nancy Olivia – of Davison age 93, passed away on Sunday, April 14, 2024 at the Cottage of Davison. Cremation has taken place. Inurnment at Great Lakes National Cemetery will take place at 10:00 AM on Friday, June 28, 2024. A private celebration is being planned. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the donor’s favorite charity in Nancy’s honor.
Nancy Olivia Swearingen was born in Detroit, MI on October 7, 1930, daughter of the late Van and Minnie (Hatter) Swearingen. She was the proud valedictorian of the graduating class of 1948, Bendle High School. She married Bill W. Dugas in July of 1948 and he preceded her in death on May 2, 2014. Nancy was very active in her local Goodrich community, serving on various committees and boards.
Nancy is survived by children, Dana (Sophy), Mark (Mary), Denise (Bill) Pyles and Kim Grace; 8 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bill; one granddaughter and her son-in-law, Tim Grace.
