STRUDGEON, Julia Elizabeth “Judy” - Of Grand Blanc, age 85,
died Wednesday, December 11, 2019 at Ascension Genesys Hospital.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10:30am Saturday, December 14, 2019 at St. Mark Catholic Church, 7296 Gale Road, Grand Blanc,
Father Peter Lawrence officiating.
Burial in Crestwood Cemetery.
Visitation 1-8pm Friday at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint. A Rosary will be prayed 7pm Friday evening at the funeral home. Visitation 9:30am Saturday at church until the time of the Mass.
Julia was born in Flint, Michigan on July 19, 1934, the daughter of the late Howard and Ruperta (Berridge) Vickery. She was a member of a senior citizen clogging group in Davison and a member of Holy Family Church.
Surviving are sons, John (Michelle) and Scott (Ginger);
Grandchildren, Greg, Shannon, and Geoff, Christy, David, Clinton and Garrett;
13 great-grandchildren;
Sister, Kay (Jim) Harwell;
Brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Dick and Clair Strudgeon;
And several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John “Jack” V. Strudgeon, daughter, Cathy Bieser, son-in-law, Gary Bieser and great-granddaughter, Katie.
