FISHER, Doris Louise - Age 88, of Fenton, died October 20, 2013. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11 AM Thursday, October 24, 2013 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 600 N. Adelaide St., Fenton, with Fr. Dwight Ezop celebrant. Burial will follow in Great Lakes National Cemetery. Visitation will be held 12-3 & 5-8 PM Wednesday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd., Fenton and from 10 AM until the time of Mass Thursday at church. A scripture service will be held 7:30 PM Wednesday at the funeral home. Doris was born January 8, 1925 in St. Clair County, MI, the daughter of Roy and Helen (Ankrapp) Williams and was a 1943 graduate of Flint Northern High School. She was married to Theodore Joseph Fisher on June 25, 1949 in Flint. Mrs. Fisher was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. She was very active in sports, playing softball, volleyball and in her later years, shuffleboard. Surviving are: husband, Ted; children, Karen (Guy) Hazzard, Richard Fisher, Ted M. Fisher, Ronald (Liz) Fisher, Kenneth (Paty) Fisher; daughter-in-law, Joyce Fisher; grandchildren, Ron Thomas, Nick (Nikki) Thomas, Christina Fisher, Jeff Fisher, Bob Fisher, Jacob Fisher, Craig (Erin) Liliefisher, Chelsea (Brock) Smith, Colin Fisher, Caity Fisher, Cosmo Fisher; great-grandchildren, Addison Thomas, Izzy Thomas, Connor Fisher, Adalee Smith. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Robert; sister, Nola Mae D'Angelo; brother, Donald Williams. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Clare Bridge and Gentive Hospice.
